The Johann Strauss Society of the Philippines (JSSP) recently hosted a fabulous Dinner Dance Musicale and Induction of the Officers and Board members at Ballroom of the multi-Kalakbay awardee Mandarin Oriental, Manila. It was truly an exquisite evening featuring extraordinary talents such as Austrian conductor-pianist Dr. Ernest Hoetzl, premier soprano Rachelle Gerodias and noted tenor Lemuel de la Cruz in honor of the “Austrian Waltz King” Johann Strauss II. H.E. Ambassador Herbert Jaeger of Austria and JSSP founder and President emeritus Kay Siazon inducted the well-deserving and notable officers like classic beauty Letty Syquia for Chairperson, the magnificently stylish Consul of Monaco Fortune Ledesma for President, Olga Severino-Martel and Mandarin Oriental GM Helmut Gaisberger for Vice-Presidents among many others. The affair was graced with the presence of prominent personalities in the diplomatic corps, business and high society such as the Consul of Bulgaria Rene Ledesma and UNESCO Ambassador Preciosa Soliven. H.E. Ambassador Herbert Jaeger of Austria, Imelda Cojuangco, Mely Hechanova, Consul General of Austria Washington Sycip, Sen. Jamby Madrigal, Susie Ortigas and Nedy Tantoco will serve as advisers. Wilcon and PIID begins National Interior Design Competititon

Wilcon Builders Depot/Supply and PIID officially began Wilcon’s 1st National Interior Design Competition when they recently held a contract signing agreement at the PIID office in Makati. The Design competition is open to all Filipino students of interior design in a university curriculum and to all regular members of the Philippine Institute of Interior Design (PIID). The age bracket of participants is limited to 18-45 years old only. Application forms are available in the President’s office in all schools and universities, Wilcon stores nation-
