Puri Gita Nusantara, a folklore group from Bali, Indonesia, has been performing traditional dances from Indonesia for so many years. Many of these dances are considered sacred, associated with ancestral spirits, but also part of the profane dance tableaus. The dances reflected the refinement of the royal courts which have evolved to represent the different social classes resulting in a more spontaneous expression. Musical scores were provided by a 30-mam Gamelan musicians headed by Dr. Permana Agung
