   Another Milestone

Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center scored another milestone with the opening of the Regency Garden Wing recently. Regency chairman and president Henry Chusuey, together with lovely wife Anna Lissa and children, Karl, Alfons and Christina welcomed VIPs from the diplomatic circles and government who officiated the ribbon-cutting ceremonies, which included Italian Ambassador Rubens Fedele with charming wife Cosette, Tourism Secretary Ace Durano, Senators Ed Angara and Dick Gordon, Governor Carlitos Marquez and Special Envoy for Tourism Amb. Alfredo Yao, who were flown in by Seair with its “fastest flights to Boracay.” The event was also graced by the presence of Boracay Regency’s Board of Directors Henry and Anna Lissa Chusuey, Helen Lim, Jerry Ong and Eddy Ong and stockholders Emilio Locsin, Wilson Locsin, Henry Sy, Ramon Locsin, Alfons Vermeulen and Mary Jean Ong. The formal opening ceremonies also coincided with Mr. Chusuey’s installation as new chairman of the Boracay Foundation, Inc. Board of Trustees. The occasion also served as the awards night of Regency’s Top 10 Producers for the year 2005 and 2006. The “Summer Chic” themed launch, which included an enjoyable night of dancing and dining, complemented the beautifully designed Asian tropical motif of the Garden Wing where 90 impeccably-appointed rooms with 18 majestic suites open its doors to a large and stunning swimming pool.
